Softball Doubleheader vs. UNA Moved to Later Start

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – In an effort to allow the field at the UWA Softball Complex some time to dry, the West Alabama Tigers have shifted the start time of their Gulf South Conference doubleheader against the #10 North Alabama Lions to a 2 p.m. start.

Heavy rain moved through the area yesterday and the moved time will allow for UWA to get the field in the most optimal condition before the start of the weekend series.

The Tigers (14-19, 8-10) enter the series winners of six straight games and in eight of their last nine contests. UNA (28-4, 15-2) enter after losing their first GSC series of the season against Mississippi College, but have posted five straight wins since in convincing fashion with the last four being by eight or more runs.
