LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Softball team's Eleanor De Block, Megan Roe, and Ella Watson were named CSC Academic All-District.
To be selected to the CSC Academic All-District team, a student athlete must hold a minimum GPA of 3.5 and compete in 90 percent of the games or start in 66 percent for the year.
De Block earns the second CSC Academic All-District selection of her career after turning in a historic season in 2026. In the circle, the senior has earned First Team All-Region and All-GSC honors after registering a 25-10 record, 1.62 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 177 strikeouts, and a .169 opposing batting average in 198.1 innings. In the classroom, De Block accumulated a 3.84 GPA as a Biology major.
As for Roe, she continues to add accolades after the best season of her career. In the circle, Roe turned in a 16-3 record along with a career-best 2.49 ERA. The senior was named to the inaugural GSC Gold Glove team earlier this month and now adds a CSC Academic All-District selection to her impressive 2026 resume. In the classroom, Roe obtained a 3.69 GPA as a Nursing major.
Watson also adds the first CSC Academic All-District selection of her career. Similar to De Block and Roe, Watson had the best season of her career in 2026. At the plate, the sophomore registered a .302 batting average with 11 home runs and 32 RBIs. Watson also drew 37 walks, attributing to a .437 on-base percentage which ranked second on the team. In the classroom, Watson is a Health Comprehensive major and finished the Spring semester with a 3.95 GPA.
