UWA Softball Series against Union Altered

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Due to an enhanced risk of severe weather on Saturday, the weekend Gulf South Conference Softball series between the West Alabama Tigers and Union Bulldogs has been shifted to Sunday evening and Monday afternoon at the UWA Softball Complex.

Because of the change, the Tigers (16-25, 8-16) will host Union (14-23, 6-17) for a single game Sunday at 6 p.m. and then for a doubleheader at Monday starting at 1 p.m.

The series was originally set to start on Saturday at 12 p.m., but the area has the chance to see two to four inches of rain and strong, potentially damaging straight line winds with a chance of tornadic activity according to the National Weather Service.
