Threat of Rain moves UWA/MC Softball Series to Friday Start

CLINTON, Miss. – As has been a consistent theme throughout the season, the West Alabama Tigers have to adjust their weekend schedule as the Gulf South Conference Series against the Mississippi College Lady Choctaws to a single game on Friday and a doubleheader on Saturday.

The Tigers (18-26, 10-17) will face MC (24-13, 5-10) Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at the regularly scheduled start time of 2 p.m. in hopes of keeping the push for a berth in the GSC Softball Championship Tournament alive.

Heavy rain in the forecast for Sunday served as the catalyst for a change in the schedule.
