UWA Holds in Sixth after Day Two of GSC Championship Tournament

PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – Although they shot a better score, the West Alabama Tigers stayed pat in sixth place after day two of the Gulf South Conference Women's Golf Championship Tournament on Sunday on the Lake View Course at Callaway Gardens Tuesday.
 
The Tigers (333-321) have team score of 78-over 654 after two rounds on the Par 72 course. Lee (306-286) maintained first place on the team leaderboard at 16-over.
 
Alicia Fajardo (78-76) fell to 10th place despite improving her personal score by two strokes and is 10-over for the tournament. Ye Eun Jin (82-77) rose to a tie for 16th and sits 15-over. Hannah McCraken (79-90) is 25-over, Kaitlyn Rose (94-83) is 33-over and Megan Ward (108-85) is 49-over after two rounds of action.
 
West Florida's Paloma Vaccaro (72-69) stayed atop the leaderboard at three-under but has been tied at 141 strokes with Haverly Harrold from Lee who moved up from a tie from third yesterday.
 
The GSC Women's Golf Championship Tournament concludes tomorrow with the first UWA player set to tee off at 8 a.m.
