Tigers Finish 10th in Argonaut Invitational

NAVARRE, Fla.– The West Alabama Tigers finished 10th after the final day of the Argonaut Invitational at the Club at Hidden Creek course hosted by the University of West Florida Tuesday.
 
UWA (328-335-324) shot a 123-over 987 during the three-day tournament on the Par-72 course extending 5,958 yards in length. Barry University (302-294-297) shot a 29-over 893 to claim the team victory and tournament championship.
 
Ye Eun Jin (77-81-77) led the Tigers at 19-over on 235shots and is tied for the 23rd best score. Alicia Fajardo (81-82-84) and Kaitlyn Rose (83-84-80) both shot 31-over on 167 strokes, Megan Ward (87-88-85) shot a 44-over 260 and Hannah McCracken (90-88-83) used 261 strokes to go 45-over.
 
Barry's Tilda Larsson (76-67-71) was the only player in the red with a two-under score on 214 strokes to claim the top of the leaderboard title.
 
Other teams in the tournament included the following: Florida Southern, Lee, Missouri-St. Louis, Limestone College, West Georgia, Montevallo, Harding, Spring Hill and Ohio Valley.
 
Next on the docket for West Alabama is the Gulf South Conference Championship Tournament at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Ga. April 22-24.
