Women’s Golf Finishes Sixth in GSC Tournament

PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The West Alabama Tigers posted the sixth best team score each day and concluded the three-day Gulf South Conference Women's Championship Tournament at the Lake View Course at Callaway Gardens Tuesday.
 
The Tigers (333-321-326) wrapped with a team score of a 116-over 980 after on the Par 72 course. Lee (306-286-292) maintained first place on the team leaderboard at 20-over 884 to claim the championship.
 
Alicia Fajardo (78-76-78) fell to 11th place and finished 16-over for the tournament which led the team. Ye Eun Jin (82-77-77) rose to a tie for 14th and finished 20-over. Hannah McCraken (79-90-88) went 41-over, Kaitlyn Rose (94-83-83) came in at 44-over and Megan Ward (108-85-89) went 66-over to wrap the tournament.
 
West Florida's Paloma Vaccaro (72-69-73) stayed atop the leaderboard from start to finish and at two-under.
