West Alabama
West Alabama finished the 2018 season with a 20-30
 
Friday Opponents
Eckerd College finished the 2018 season 20-27. North Georgia finished last season 62-4 and as the top seed in the NCAA Division II Tournament but fell to Saint Leo to end the season.
 
Saturday Opponents
Tuskegee finished the 2018 season 12-35. Mobile finished 46-15 on the 2018 season with a loss in the 2018 NAIA Softball World Series.

Tigers back on the Gulf Coast
West Alabama is returning to the Gulf Coast Invitational in Gulf Shores, Alabama for the second year in the row. Last season, UWA went 3-3 in the event with wins over Lenoir-Rhyne, Rollins and Tuskegee and losses to Eckerd, Saint Leo and Young Harris.
