Vidnere Signs With UWA Women’s Tennis

LIVINGSTON – Hardija Vidnere has signed a scholarship to play women's tennis at the University of West Alabama, according to an announcement today by head coach Jeff Beaman. Vidnere is transferring from Fresno Pacific.

"We are excited to add Hardija to our team for this spring," Beaman said. "I believe she can make an impact right away and I am looking forward to seeing what our women can do this spring."

Vidnere prepped at Hanson Academy in Leeds, United Kingdom. She also competed for the Latvian National Tennis Team four consecutive years. Her family moved to the UK where she played for the Yorkshire County Team and her sister plays for nationally ranked Northeastern State.
