Tigers Sign Wallace-Hanceville Guard

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Jada Golden, a 5-8 guard from Wallace-Hanceville (Ala.) Community College, has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her basketball career at the University of West Alabama.
 
Golden, who played prep basketball at Fairview (Ala.) High School, has played in 28 games as a sophomore at Wallace-Hanceville, averaging 6.2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. She is a 29 percent shooter from the floor and a 25 percent shooter from three-point range. She has converted 65 percent from the free throw line.
 
As a freshman Golden averaged 7.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game. She finished her freshman year as a 36 percent field goal shooter, 34 percent from three-point range and 67 percent from the free throw line.
 
She was an all-area selection at Fairview High.
