West Alabama
The Tigers are 7-7 overall and 1-2 in league play after dropping last weekend's GSC series to Auburn-Montgomery in Livingston, Alabama. UWA won the first game 5-1 and dropped the last two 7-0 and 9-1.

Lee University
The Lady Flames are 7-8 on the season and 1-2 in the conference after dropping a series to #22 Valdosta State. Lee lost the first game 1-9, won the second 8-4 and dropped the finale 7-1.

Here Comes the Rain Again
Rain has reared its head again and forced a change from the original schedule. UWA and Lee were set to meet on Saturday for doubleheader and then wrap the series on Sunday. However, mother nature had other plans for the schedule.

Last Season
Lee won last year's season 2-1 in Cleveland, Tennessee winning the first and third games. In UWA's game two win, the Tigers jumped out to a 4-0 lead before the Lady Flames scored four in the sixth to tie the game. Kylie Martin hit the final of her three RBIs in the seventh to drive in Kendall Johnson to lift the Tigers to a 5-4 victory. Carleigh Mills pitched two-thirds of an inning to earn the win and Kamree Lay picked up a save.

You Gotta Wear It
Kacy Noland is tied for the GSC lead in being hit by pitch. The pitcher/first baseman has earned a trip to first base the most painful way five times so far this year.

Curiosity and the Kat
Kat Burks has been sneaky good for the Tigers in the circle. The freshman pitcher is third in the GSC in earned runs allowed at one, eighth with a 1.08 ERA and six hits allowed and 15th in opponent batting average at .231.

Going Yard
Nicole Buccieri hit her first home run of the year last Saturday against AUM. The sophomore outfielder is now up to seven career home runs as a Tiger.
