UWA Women’s Hoops to Host UAH This Weekend

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Due to COVID-19 protocols, the Gulf South Conference has announced changes to this weekend's schedule of games including the University of West Alabama Women's Basketball team now facing the University of Alabama in Huntsville Chargers on Jan. 8 and Jan. 9 in Pruitt Hall Gymnasium in Livingston, Alabama.
 
UWA and UAH will tipoff Friday evening at 5 p.m. and Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. This series was originally scheduled for Jan. 22 and Jan. 23 but moved when both teams had an opening in the schedule for this matchup.
 
Tickets to the game one can be reserved HERE and Saturday's game can be found HERE. Capacity for home events is limited and tickets are first come, first serve. 
 
The original matchup between the Tigers and Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi has been postponed. A make date has not been announced at this time. 
 
UWA is currently 2-0 after sweeping the season opening series against Delta State in Pruitt Hall Gymnasium back on Dec. 12 and Dec. 13 in Gulf South Conference action
