THE SERIES
This is the 44th meeting between West Alabama and Mississippi College. UWA leads the series 26-19-2, with the Tigers winning the last 10 against the Choctaws. This will be the two team's second faceoff of the season. West Alabama defeated MC 31-28 in the first conference game of the season.
WEST ALABAMA
The Tigers are 7-3 overall and 4-3 in conference play. Despite being undefeated on the road, West Alabama has struggled at home, dropping three of five competitions in Tiger Stadium. Last week, UWA fell to No. 4 West Florida 47-7 to its footing in the polls.
MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE
The Choctaws are 3-6 overall and 2-5 in the Gulf South Conference. MC is entering Saturday's game after a heartbreaking loss against Delta State. Mississippi College fell 24-21 in Cleveland.

Head Coach Brett Gilliland is 52-29 at in his eighth season at West Alabama. He is also 7-0 against Mississippi College.

John Bland is 18-52 in his eighth season at the helm of the Mississippi College football program and 93-78 in his 17th year of coaching.

Bayley Blanchard and Tyriq Martin will close their West Alabama career as one of nine on the UWA career list with 100 receptions. Blanchard is fourth with 161 catches before Saturday's game, and Martin is sixth with 149.
MCDANIELS AMONG CAREER OFFENSE LEADERS
As Jack McDaniels closes his collegiate career at UWA in Saturday's game, he will leave his mark on the UWA career list. Prior to the competition, McDaniels is fifth in passing yards with 5,491 yards and fifth in total offense with 5,565 yards.
D-BLOCK DUO
The West Alabama defense sits at third in the Gulf South Conference. Leading the effort are seniors Josh Hatcher and Chris Terrell. Hatcher is second in the league in solo tackles, averaging 4.9 per game. Terrell is second in the league in tackles for a loss, averaging 1.2 per game. Terrell is also third in the conference for sacks per game.
DUNKLE FOR TOTALS
UWA kicker Gabriel Dunkle ranks second in the GSC and 37th nationally in total points scored. Dunkle has added 74 total points (not including the game against NAU) to the Tigers total offense.
