LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Clarke Gordon, a world champion team roping header from Tupelo, Mississippi, has signed to compete collegiately for the University of West Alabama Tiger Wranglers rodeo team.

Gordon claimed the crown of NLBRA World Champion Header in 2020 and was also the MSLBRA Champion Header in 2016, 2019 and 2020.

Adding to his collection of accolades, he was also the 2017 MSLBRA Champion Heeler and the 2019 MSLBRA Champion Tie Down Roper. Gordon also competed at the 2020 National High School Rodeo Association Finals.

"Clarke not only excels in the arena, but also in the classroom," West Alabama head rodeo coach Daniel Poole said. "Needless to say, we are excited to add him to our roster."

Gordon and partner Corey Reed also won at the USTRC National Finals XXXI, needing an 8.05 on the final go and getting an 8-seconds flat to finish with a total time of 31.75 on four. The 8-flat ended up being worth $43,340.
