The inaugural All-Star event will be a one-day competition with Team South competing against Team North. The winner will take home $120,000 to split amongst the team. The Tigers are one of nine teams that make up Team South, joining Texas A&M, Kansas State, Cal Poly, Oklahoma State, Colorado State, Eastern New Mexico, East Texas A&M, Colorado Mesa, and Southern Arkansas.
Team South will be coached by Trevor Brazile while Dale Brisby is slated to coach Team North.
Brown earns an All-star selection as he's in the midst of another standout season for UWA. Gordon has recorded 1,100 points in 2025-26, leading to his All-star selection. Gordon will compete on West Alabama's six-man team at the CNFR in June before the All-Star event in July.
Westrope and Smith completes the quartet for the Tigers. Westrope will compete in the Bull Riding while Smith is slated to participate in the Bareback Riding event.
Smith is an incoming freshman who is a 4x State Champion in Mississippi and a 4x National Finals High School qualifier. On the high school circuit, Smith placed within the top-10 in the world in the Bareback Riding.
