LIVINGSTON, Ala.- West Alabama softball series scheduled for this weekend at UWA Softball Complex between the Tigers and Alabama Huntsville has been moved to a doubleheader Friday at 1 p.m. and a single game Saturday at 1 p.m. due to inclement weather.
UWA is 11-10 overall, 7-8 in GSC play. The Chargers come to Livingston with a 14-7 overall record, 9-6 in the conference.
Freshman Peyton Coots leads West Alabama hitters with a .457 batting average, followed by sophomore Kacy Noland hitting .353.
The Tigers top pitcher is Noland (5-3) with a 3.50 earned runs average and 31 strikeouts.
Heather Thompson leads UAH hitters with a .500 batting average, followed by Mackenzie Nutt hitting .455.
Both live stream and live stats will be available for all games.

There is no admission charge for softball in 2021, but fans are expected to comply with pandemic protocols for facial coverings and social distancing.
Concessions will be available at UWA Softball Complex this season; however, due to pandemic precautions, there will only be prepackaged items available.
