Takanishi Signs with Women's Tennis

LIVINGSTON, Ala – The University of West Alabama women's head tennis coach Jeff Beaman is thrilled to announce Emiri Takanishi has signed her National Letter of Intent to be a student- athlete at UWA. 
 
"We look for Emiri to make an immediate impact on the team," Beaman said. "She has some excellent matches against players with strong International Tennis Federation world rankings." 
 
The Japan native competed in the All-Japan Junior Championships. Takanishi finished eighth overall in the 40th Annual Japanese National High School Selection Championships.
