This is the 11^th meeting between West Alabama and Tuskegee. UWA leads the series 7-3

TICKETS
With the rising cases of Covid-19 in Alabama and the surrounding states, Tuskegee University has opted to limit spectators at their home events. Because of this, West Alabama fans will not be allowed at this week's football game in Tuskegee.

WEST ALABAMA
UWA is 1-0 this season, after defeating Morehouse College 48-7 in the first week. Morehouse and Tuskegee are both members of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC).

TUSKEGEE
Tuskegee is 0-1, falling 30-0 to conference rival Fort Valley State Sunday evening.

THE COACHES
Brett Gilliland is 46-26 in his eighth season as a head coach, all at UWA. Willie Slater is 118-40 in his 15^th year as head coach.

FIRST OUTING FOR DARIUS
UWA red shirt-sophomore receiver Darius Nalls had an impressive day in his first outing wearing the West Alabama uniform. In the win over Morehouse, Nalls caught nine passes for 200 yards for two touchdowns.

JACK BREAKS TOP-10 IN PASSING
With 344 passing yards last week against Morehouse, graduate quarterback Jack McDaniels currently ranks 9^th in NCAA Division II football in passing yards this season. Adding the yardage to his career totals, he also breaks into the top-10 in UWA history to rank 10^th. As a Tiger, McDaniels has completed 265 of 465 attempts for 3,235 yards. His completion percentage is a historic high of 62.2 percent, with 25 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

TYRIQ GETTING CLOSE
Senior receiver Tyriq 'Smiley' Martin is closing in on being the ninth receiver in Tiger history with 100 receptions. After last week's game, Martin has 95 receptions for 1,208 yards and 14 touchdowns. He currently ranks 8^th in both receptions and receiving yards.

TIGER HALL OF FAMER MATCH UP
Tigers head coach Brett Gilliland and Tuskegee University head coach Willie Slater have donned the red and white uniform for Livingston University/West Alabama. Coach Gilliland was inducted in 2012 for his career as a quarterback from 2000-03. Slater was inducted in 2014 for his quarterback career at Livingston from 1974-77.

DERRICK NEEDS 276
Running back Derrick Underwood needs just 276 yards to move into the UWA all-time top 10 in rushing yards. Against Morehouse, he tallied 57. Underwood is well on his way to breaking into the top-10 before the end of the season.

HATCHER CLOSING IN ON 100
Linebacker Josh Hatcher is closing in on 100 career tackles. The Roanoke, Ala. native currently has a total of 84 (46 solo and 38 assists). During the 2019 season, Hatcher tallied 55 tackles and is poised to break 100 career tackles by the close of the 2021 season.

UWA OFFENSE & DEFENSE TOPS DII
After the opening week of NCAA Division II football, West Alabama is among the top-10 in total offense and total defense. Ranking third, the Tigers recorded 75 plays for 550 yards to average 7.33 yards per play. They also added six offensive touchdowns. UWA's defense ranks seventh with 54 plays to allow 131 yards. The D-Block held Morehouse to 2.43 yards per play.
