LIVINGSTON, Ala. - Softball heads to Albertville, Ala. to compete at the UAH Charger Chillout hosted by Alabama Huntsville this upcoming weekend at the Sand Mountain Park and Amphitheater Miracle Field. Admission fee for adults is $10 per day. 

The Tigers open up the tournament against Young Harris from the Peach Belt Conference on Saturday, Feb. 12. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m. Following the game, UWA will then battle Lincoln Memorial out of the South Atlantic Conference at 5:30 p.m.

UWA closes out the tournament on Sunday, Feb. 13. The Tigers battle Carson-Newman from the South Atlantic Conference at 10 a.m., then take on University of Indianapolis at 12:30 p.m. 

The Tigers start the season off with a 2-2 overall record. UWA split both days at the Gulf Coast Invitational on February 5 and February 6.

UWA hitters are led by senior Kacy Noland hitting .445 and freshman Taylor Clegg with a .375 batting average after the opening weekend. 

The Tigers top pitcher is Kaeleigh Crutchfield. Crutchfield (1-1) has pitched a total of 13.1 innings with a 1.58 ERA and has striked out 10.
