UWA Softball Battles Tuskegee in Midweek Doubleheader Game

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama softball team heads to Tuskegee for a midweek doubleheader game on Wednesday, Feb. 16. First pitch is set for noon at TU Softball Field.

The Tigers are 3-5 on the season. Tuskegee heads into the game with a 1-4 overall record.

Cassie Matlock is leading the Tigers offense with a .375 batting average. The senior outfielder has two doubles, a triple, RBI, and four runs scored. 

Kacy Noland has a .364 batting average. The Carrollton, Ala. native has collected four RBI's and two runs scored early in the season.

Hannah Mynard (1-1) is the Tigers top pitcher. The Enterprise, Ala. native has pitched 19.2 innings and has a 1.83 ERA. The junior has only given up four earned runs off 18 hits, while striking out 18 so far this season.
