LIVINGSTON, Ala. The West Alabama women's tennis team begins play at the 2022 ITA DII National Women's Team Indoor Championships Saturday morning at 8 a.m. at the Edmond Center Court in Edmond, Okla. against West Florida.

"We are excited to get started and have a shot at a very familiar and good opponent," head coach Jeff Beaman said.

UWA is ranked No. 6 in the latest ITA Coaches Poll and UWF is ranked No. 12.

The Tigers bring in a 3-1 overall record and West Florida will begin its 2022 season against UWA.

Outside of UWA and UWF, the other teams in the tournament will be Barry, Indianapolis, Central Oklahoma, Columbus State, Nova Southeastern, and Flagler. All teams are ranked in the top 15 in the ITA Coaches Poll.
