LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama softball team is set to host Miles College for a midweek doubleheader game on Wednesday. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. at UWA Softball Complex. 

The Tigers head into the game with a 7-9 overall record and are 1-2 in GSC play. The Golden Bears bring a 3-5 overall record to Livingston.

Cassie Matlock is leading the Tigers offense with a .386 batting average. The senior outfielder has three doubles, a triple, six RBIs, and 11 runs scored. 

Kacy Noland has a .333 batting average. The Carrollton, Ala. native has two doubles, collected nine RBIs and has scored six runs. 

Hannah Mynard (2-2) is the Tigers top pitcher. The Enterprise, Ala. native has pitched 36 innings and has a 3.75 ERA. The junior has only given up 15 earned runs, while striking out 28. 

Miles College is led by Kiara Cobb with a batting average of .571 with one triple, one homerun, and three RBIs.

Shakayla Terry (2-1) is the Golden Bears top pitcher. The senior pitcher has pitched 19 total innings and has a 5.68 ERA. She has given up 12 earned runs and has striked out eight.
