Women's Tennis Gets Set for Two Matches This Weekend

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – West Alabama women's tennis has one match on Saturday at Louisiana Tech and one on Sunday at home against Southern Arkansas.

UWA enters the weekend with an 8-3 record and has won the last four matches.

The Tigers are ranked No. 14 in the latest Division II Women's ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings.

The match against Division I opponent Louisiana Tech will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the LA Tech Tennis Complex in Ruston, La.

The Lady Techsters are 15-2 overall and have won 13 straight matches.

Sunday's match against Southern Arkansas will begin at 2 p.m. at the Vaughan Tennis Complex.

Southern Arkansas will bring a 2-5 record into the match and most recently defeated No. 42 Newman University 4-3.
