Kaitlin Hill Named GSC Field Athlete of the Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference named Kaitlin Hill as the women's Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season based on her performance at the Falcon Track and Field Classic on March 19th. 
 
Hill won the women's long jump at the Falcon Track and Field Classic with a jump of 6.16-meters long which is a NCAA provisional mark. 
 
The Loachapoka, Ala. native is currently tied for first in the NCAA women's long jump with Azusa Pacific's Nicole Warwick. 
 
Hill also had a first-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a finish of 11.71 seconds. 
 
The UWA track and field team is back in action at the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays in Starkville, Miss. beginning Thursday and will end on Saturday.
