West Alabama Baseball Signs Lane Domino

LIVINGSTON, Ala. -  West Alabama head baseball coach Gary Rundles has announced the signing of Lane Domino to join the 2023 baseball roster as a outfielder.

"Lane is a talented and experienced player that will be joining our family. He is a dynamic player with a rare combination of power and speed," Rundles said. "He is an A+ defender in the outfield and will be a big asset on the field and at the plate,"

Domino spent last season playing for Jacksonville State and appeared in 16 games. He recorded one hit and scored five runs for JSU.

Prior to playing for the Gamecocks, Domino spent two seasons playing for Itawamba Community College and saw action in 85 games, batted in 70 runs, and hit 16 home runs during his junior college career.

He was named to the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference First Team during his sophomore season at ICC.

Domino graduated from Itawamba Agricultural High School in 2019.

"We are excited to have him join our program and can't wait to get to work," Rundles said.
