Tigers Take on Saint Leo and Eckerd on Day One of the Old Coast Classic

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The West Alabama softball team will continue non-conference play at the Old Coast Classic at Flagler Field. The Tigers take on Saint Leo Friday at 1 p.m. CT, followed by Eckerd at 6 p.m. CT.

The schedule for Saturday and Sunday is still up in the air depending on the weather. Please check uwaatheletics.com for further updates for the final two days of the tournament.

The Tigers enter the tournament with a 4-2 overall record. UWA hitters are led by senior LP Trammell, hitting .438 after opening weekend at Gulf Shores Invitational. The Tigers' top pitcher is Madison Wright (2-1). She has pitched a total of 20 innings with a 2.80 ERA and has struck out 13.
