Tigers Wrap Up Regular Season Against Union This Weekend

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama's softball team wraps up the regular season with a three-game Gulf South Conference home series against Union at UWA Softball Complex.

The teams square off with a single game on Friday at 6:30 p.m. and the doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m. Senior Day recognition will be held on Saturday. Fans are encouraged to get there 30 minutes before the game.

The Tigers are 35-11 overall and 20-7 in GSC play. Union comes to Livingston with a 24-21 overall record and a 13-12 conference record.

Taylor Clegg leads the Tigers from the plate with a .362 batting average. LP Trammell follows with a .359 batting average and 18 bombs. Ann Marie Stanbridge is hitting .341 with 19 home runs.

Junior Madison Wright (21-7) leads the Tigers in the circle. Wright has pitched 165 innings and has a 2.16 ERA. She has given up 51 earned runs. She has notched 165 strikeouts.

Macey Neal leads the Bulldogs' bats with a .453 batting average.
