INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The West Alabama softball team will continue postseason play at the NCAA Division II South Regional Tournament. The Tigers enter the tournament as the No. 6 seed.
The South Region is split between two brackets. The No. 1 seed Tampa (40-3), and the No. 2 seed Saint Leo (42-10) are the two hosting sites. The tournament is a double elimination tournament that runs from Thursday through Saturday.
UWA (41-12) is in the South Region 2 bracket. The Tigers will face the No. 3 seed Nova Southeastern (38-13) Thursday on Saint Leo's campus at University Softball Field in Saint Leo, Florida. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. CT. Saint Leo will face the No. 7 seed Auburn Montgomery at 11 a.m. CT.
The South Region 1 bracket is comprised of Tampa, No. 8 seed Tuskegee, No. 4 seed Alabama Huntsville, and No. 5 seed Mississippi College. Tampa, out of the Sunshine State Conference (SSC), will face Tuskegee (25-20). Two GSC schools will be playing each other in the first round of the tournament. Alabama Huntsville (44-9) will take on Mississippi College (42-10).

Game 1: No. 2 Saint Leo (42-10) vs. No. 7 AUM (35-17), 11:00 a.m. CT/ Noon ET
Game 2: No. 3 Nova Southeastern (38-13) vs. No. 6 West Alabama (41-12), 2 p.m. CT/ 3 p.m. ET
Friday, May 12
Game 3: Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2, 1 p.m. CT/ 2 p.m. ET
Game 4: Loser of Game 1 vs. Loser of Game 2, 3:30 p.m. CT/ 4:30 ET
Game 5: Loser of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 4, 6 p.m. CT/ 7 p.m. ET
Saturday, May 13
Game 6: Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 5, 1 p.m. CT/ 2 p.m. ET
Game 7: (If Necessary): Rematch of Game 6, 3:30 p.m. CT/ 4:30 p.m. ET
