LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama saw a total of 132 student-athletes named to the President's and Dean's List for the Spring 2024 semester.
52 student-athletes were listed on the President's List, while 80 from UWA's 16 varsity programs were on the Dean's List.
Between the fall and spring semesters, 99 student-athletes secured Dean's List and/or President's List honors in both terms. Click

Football and women's soccer led the spring awards with 17 athletes, followed by softball and baseball with 14 each. Men's soccer (13) and women's basketball (10) round out the top six teams in the department.

PRESIDENT'S LIST AWARDS
The President's List gives recognition to undergraduate students with exceptionally high grades for the semester, those with grade-point averages of 3.80 or higher, completing at least twelve semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a "C."
Women's soccer (11), softball (9) and women's basketball (7) led the UWA athletic department this spring.

DEAN'S LIST AWARDS
The Dean's List gives recognition to those undergraduate students those with grade-point averages between 3.25 and 3.79, completing at least twelve semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a "C."
Football (14) and baseball (11) were the top two teams in the department, followed by seven from the men's soccer squad.
