TEMPE, Ariz. – Announced on Wednesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association,
Khim Iglupas from the University of West Alabama was honored as an ITA Singles All-American.
The criteria for ITA All-American recognition are finishing in the Top 20 of the final ITA National Singles Rankings and Top Ten in the final ITA Doubles Rankings.
Iglupas, a graduate student from Northern Minanao, Philippines, finished as the fifth-best player in NCAA Division II with an overall record of 18-2. Of her 20 matches, six were against nationally ranked foes, where she went 5-1.
The Gulf South Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-GSC selection went a perfect 10-0 in league play and won 14 of her last 16 matchups at the top flight.
West Alabama finished the 2024 season ranked 13th in the nation with a 15-10 overall record and securing the team's fifth consecutive GSC regular season title.
