LIVINGSTON, Ala. - After making it to the Semifinals of the ITA Regionals, Alexa Milliam's journey for a singles ITA Cup National Championship is set to begin on Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

In the ITA Regionals, the sophomore defeated Kristen Younes, Lena Beckx, and Alyssa Novoa to clinch a spot in the ITA Cup National field. 

Milliam's first round matchup is set against North Georgia's Vasilissa Kupriyanova for Thursday.

Last season, Milliam put together arguably the greatest freshman campaign in UWA Tennis history. The Philippians native took the country by storm as she put together a 19-0 record in singles play, leading to a National Freshman of the Year selection and a First Team All-GSC and All-Region nod.

Milliam looks to continue her dominant play this weekend with the ITA Cup set for Thursday, October 16-Sunday, October 19.
