LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Football team will be idle again this Saturday, October 11
Now with back-to-back bye weeks, No. 9 UWA will play No. 3 West Florida on October 18 with having played their last game 21 days ago.
"We're upset that we're not playing this week," said head coach Scott Cochran. "These young men would like to play every week and they are hungry to compete. We respect a bye week, but two on back-to-back Saturday's isn't ideal."
After the game between West Alabama and Lincoln was postponed, the two teams will now meet on November 8 in Livingston with a kickoff time to be determined.
The Tigers' next matchup is set with No. 9 UWA slated to host No. 3 UWF on Hall of Fame Weekend at Tiger Stadium.
