LIVINGSTON, Ala. – After a standout season leading the UWA attack, David Nunez has been selected to the D2CCA All-South Region Second Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Nunez becomes the latest Tiger to earn regional recognition following a dominant Junior campaign that established him as one of the top offensive threats in the Gulf South Conference and the South Region.

The Junior forward posted an impressive stat line across the 2025 season, 10 goals, tied for fourth-most in the GSC, two assists, 22 total points, 35 total shots, including 19 on target, three game-winning goals, started and played in all 15 matches.

His consistency and scoring ability powered the Tigers' attack all year, highlighted by multiple multi-goal performances and clutch finishes that helped guide UWA through the heart of conference play.

The D2CCA honor comes in addition to Nunez being named to the All-GSC First Team earlier this month, further cementing his status as one of the premier forwards in the region.

Nunez's recognition adds to a strong postseason awards cycle for West Alabama men's soccer, reflecting the program's continued growth.
