LIVINGSTON, Ala. - With the NFL Draft in the books, The University of West Alabama Football's Caeleb Bass has officially been invited to the Indianapolis Colts' Rookie Mini Camp.
Bass' dream of becoming an NFL Player became a whole lot closer to a reality on Saturday as the Tight End is set to begin his journey with the Colts in May. Bass is one of two GSC players to be invited to a Rookie Minicamp, joining Valdosta State's Sammy Edwards who holds an invite from the New York Giants.
Throughout his career at West Alabama, Bass registered 78 catches, 937 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns across five seasons. The Tight End battled through injuries in 2023 and returned in 2024, by putting together the best season of his collegiate career. In the 2024 campaign, Bass recorded 30 receptions for 301 yards and four Touchdowns, leading to the second All-GSC selection of his career.
After a successful collegiate career, Bass is ready to begin his professional career as he attempts to make the Colts' roster over the next couple of months.
