LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Women's Tennis team moved up to No. 3 in the ITA Top-25 on Wednesday.

West Alabama held the No. 5 spots for the first two weeks of the season before ascending to No. 3 after their play at the ITA Indoor National Championships. The Tigers defeated No. 4 Flagler and No. 2 Nova Southeastern this past week while narrowly falling to No. 1 Barry.

On the year, UWA holds a 4-2 record with a Division I win coming over Alabama State and key Division II wins against Flagler and Nova Southeastern.

West Alabama will take their No. 3 ranking to Tyler, Texas this weekend for an Invitational hosted by UT Tyler.
