LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama Women's Tennis team continues its Gulf South Conference slate with a road matchup against the AUM Warhawks on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.

No. 1 West Alabama (8-3, 0-1 GSC) enters Wednesday's contest following a 4-3 loss to No. 2 West Florida on Saturday and a 4-1 win over Lynn on Monday. AUM (4-7, 1-0 GSC) comes into the match after earning a 5-2 win over Augusta.

The Tigers are looking to bounce back in GSC play after dropping their first conference regular season match in six seasons on Saturday. In that contest, UWA secured the doubles point and picked up singles victories from Jenaila Prulla and Nanoka Kazama.

Prulla has been a standout in singles play, bringing a perfect 8-0 record into Wednesday's match. Kazama has also been strong, holding a 7-1 singles record on the season. The duo has become a reliable combination in Lines Five and Six for West Alabama and will look to continue their strong play against the Warhawks.

In Lines One through Three, the trio of Shaira Rivera, Alexa Milliam, and Valentina Mutilba has combined for a 13-13 record in singles competition.

For AUM, its only conference match so far this season came against Christian Brothers, where the Warhawks secured a 6-1 victory.

Melissa Yakup Pour occupies Line One singles for AUM, compiling a 4-6 record through 10 matches. The Warhawks have rotated Mercedes Cid Garcia and Sofia Neri in Line Two throughout the season, while Nagisa Yonezawa has handled Line Three duties. Allison Blanco has been a standout in Line Four, bringing a 6-2 record into Wednesday's matchup.

First serve between West Alabama and AUM is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
