LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Women's Tennis team is ranked No. 3 in the ITA Top-25 rankings.
West Alabama (8-3, 0-1 GSC) comes in at No. 3 in this week's edition after falling to No. 1 West Florida, 4-3, on Saturday and defeating Lynn, 4-1, on Monday.
Along with being ranked third in the country, the Tigers also have multiple players ranked within the singles and doubles top-25.
The doubles duo of Shaira Rivera and Alexa Milliam are the 12th ranked tandem in the country. Milliam is UWA's highest ranked singles player as she comes in at No. 17 this week's edition. Rivera's name also resides within the top-25 in singles play, sitting at No. 23.
On the men's side, Matias Iturbe remains in the top-25 as he sits at No. 25 without playing a match in the spring yet to this point.
West Alabama's Women's team takes their No. 3 ranking to Montgomery on Wednesday for a 2:00 p.m. matchup against AUM. For the men, they will next be in action on Tuesday, March 17 for a contest with the Warhawks.
