LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Softball team is listed in the first edition of the NCAA South Region Rankings.

The first edition of the rankings is listed in alphabetical order, with next week's release being in rank order.

Standing at 35-10-1 and 20-7 in the GSC, UWA is squarely in position to secure a bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers have picked up high profile wins against AUM, Montevallo, West Florida, Spring Hill, and Columbus State.

Alongside West Alabama in the rankings is

AUM, Florida Tech, Mississippi College, Montevallo, Saint Leo, Spring Hill, Tampa, UAH, and West Florida.

With just two weeks left in the regular season, UWA has matchups with UAH and Mississippi College remaining in their schedule.
