LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Thirty-two University of West Alabama student-athletes were named to the Gulf South Conference 2013 Spring Academic Honor Roll on Tuesday. A total of 75 UWA student-athletes earned a spot on the GSC Honor Roll in the Fall 2012 – Spring 2013 academic year.
Softball led the way with 13 players being named to the Honor Roll,followed by baseball with 10, five women's tennis players and four men's tennis players.

Anton Ivanov were also named to the 2013 GSC Spring All-Academic Team. For Meeks, it is his second consecutive year being named to the Academic All-GSC team.
“We are very proud of these student-athletes and all they have accomplished in the classroom this year,” UWA Director of Athletics
Stan Williamson said. “Our goal for each of our student-athletes is providing every opportunity for them to earn their degree.”
