LIVINGSTON, Ala. – West Alabama men's basketball will be making its first appearance in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament since 1982 as the No. 7 seed taking on the No. 2 seed Saint Leo on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. (CST) in the Jenkins Field House on the campus of Florida Southern.
The Tigers (17-10), under first year head coach Mark Downey, enters the tournament after posting the most regular season wins since 1998 and most Gulf South Conference wins in school history of 14. Saint Leo (23-8) will be making its third-consecutive appearance in NCAA Tournament.
