LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Men's Basketball's Caleb Parr was named CSC Academic All-District on Tuesday. 

Parr earns the first CSC Academic All-District selection of his career after turning in an excellent season on and off the floor for West Alabama in 2025-26.

To be selected to the CSC Academic All-District team, a student athlete must hold a minimum GPA of 3.5 and compete in 90 percent of the games or start in 66 percent for the year. 

Parr was instrumental in UWA's historic run to a GSC Regular Season Championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament in 2025-26. The Shooting Guard played in all 33 games, starting in 30 of them and averaged 9.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game. The Junior was efficient from the field, shooting 47.1 percent which led all guards on West Alabama's roster. 

In the classroom, Parr is an Integrated Marketing Communications major and ended the Fall semester with a 3.81 GPA.

Parr is set to return to UWA next season as the Tigers look to build on their 2025-26 campaign.
