DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Junior Chance Caylor led the University of West Alabama men's golf team by setting his best 18-hole and 36-hole records through the first two rounds in the North Georgia Fall Invitational at the Achasta Golf Club Monday.

Caylor carded 2-under par 70 in the second round to tie 13^th overall with 142. West Alabama finished day in 13^th place out of 17, combining with 23-over 599. The Tigers shot 297 in round one and 302 in round two.

Lee University led the field with 18-under 558, followed by Carson Newman with 13-under 563 and West Georgia with 12-under 564. Lee's Peyton Sliger and Caron Newman's Andrew Hall leads the 91-man field tied in first place overall with 8-under 136.

Caylor improved on his even-par 72 score in round one by two strokes to set his career best 18-hole score in the second round. His overall 36-hole record of 142 is a three stroke improvement from his previous best of 145 set at the 2014 UWG Matt Dyas Invitational.

With only one collegiate tournament under his belt going into the tournament, freshman Samuel Bradley also established his personal best with his lowest score of 72 in round one and his lowest two-round score of 4-over 148. Having carded 76 in the second round, Bradley is tied for 44^th place overall.

Fellow freshman Logan Archer opened the day with 3-over 75. He went on to shoot a 76 in the second round, finishing third for the Tigers with 7-over 151. Mason Mitchell and Harris Stevens rounded out the UWA group with 161 and 162 respectively.

The UNG Fall Invitational is the first 54-hole tournament for the Tigers this season. It will conclude with round three on Tuesday.
