Box Score MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Six different Tigers got on the score sheet as West Alabama men's soccer picked up its fourth win in as many matches, moving past Auburn Montgomery 3-1 at the AUM Soccer Complex on Sunday.
The Tigers improve to 4-3 on the season, while the Warhawks fall to 2-7 on the year.
"Another good away performance today," UWA head coach
Matthew Thorne said. "We took the lead, and AUM battled back to make it 1-1. I was pleased with our character to bounce back and score two unanswered goals."
"I felt we played a lot better in the second half and created numerous chances. That was our fourth win in a row, but now we have our focus on a tough Mississippi College side. The lads are looking forward to the challenege."

The Tigers struck first as
Stephen Carroll crossed the ball across the box, finding
Jean-Baptiste Meyniel on the other side. The sophomore from Aurillac, France, plated the ball into the bottom left corner of the net on his first score of the year in the 35
th minute.
AUM leveled the match at 1-1 in the 38
th minute as Nick Davis put one touch on the ball on a long cross from William York and launched a strike into the bottom right side of the goal.
UWA regained the lead in the 48
th minute after
Ashley Phillips crossed a ball into the penalty area from the corner to connect with
Liam Ireland for Ireland's fourth score of the season.
With the keeper out of the box,
Harrison Roberts played the ball past the keeper, allowing
Oreva Amata to score an uncontested goal in the 75
th minute to put the Tigers ahead 3-1.
Brad Louis (3-3) made one save on eight shots faced to earn the win. Stephen Ingram (1-4) took the loss, making seven saves while facing 18 shots.
The Tigers will return home to face off against Mississippi College in their Gulf South Conference opener on Friday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
