Tillman Continuing International Hoops Career with New Deal

Former University of West Alabama basketball forward Lleon Tillman has agreed to terms with San Jose Arequipa in Peru to continue his professional basketball career. Tillman has spent the last two years playing professionally in Spain.

In 25 games this season with Cantbasket in the EBA he averaged 11.5 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals. The previous season Tillman played for UCAM Murcia, averaging 11.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks over 26 games.

As a senior at West Alabama during the 2014-15 season, Tillman averaged 11.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.0 blocked shots while helping lead the Tigers to an NCAA South Regional Tournament berth.
