Tuesday Baseball at Point Postponed

A baseball doubleheader between West Alabama and Point University scheduled for Tuesday in West Point, Georgia has been postponed due to expected inclement weather.

A makeup date has not yet been set.

The Tigers open Gulf South Conference play Friday at 4 p.m. against Auburn-Montgomery. UWA and AUM will play a three-game series at Tartt Field, with a double header scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday.

A ceremony honoring Tiger head coach Gary Rundles for his 600^th win as the head coach at West Alabama is scheduled to take place between games on Saturday.

Tiger fans should also get ready for the Hardee's Home Run Inning, where Hardee's will provide free soft drinks for UWA fans if a Tiger hits a home run in the sixth inning of any Tiger game.
