Weekend Baseball Series at Delta State Changed

CLEVELAND, Miss. – Due to expected inclement weather in the early portion of the weekend, the dates and times for the Gulf South Conference baseball series between West Alabama and Delta State have been shifted.

The Tigers and Statesmen will now play a single game Sunday at 3 p.m. at Dave "Boo" Ferris Field, followed by a doubleheader Monday at 1 p.m.

All three games will be carried live on ESPN 104.9, the Twin States Sports Authority. A live video stream is available through Delta State for $8 per game. Link information icons for the broadcasts and live stats are located in the Calendar portion of the landing page at www.uwaathletics.com.

West Alabama comes into the series with a 22-12 overall record, 9-10 in league play. The Tigers have won three straight and 12 of their last 13 games. Delta State is 27-10 and 15-8. The Statesmen also have a three-game win streak and have eight wins in the last 11 games.
