SharDarrion Allen Signs with UWA Men’s Basketball

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The roster of talent continues to grow for the University of West Alabama Men's Basketball as SharDarrion Allen has signed his National Letter of Intent to join the Tigers.
 
Allen, a native of Bolton, Mississippi, is coming to UWA after spending two seasons with Jones College Bobcats.
 
The 6-foot-3 guard was the only player in Mississippi Association of Community & Junior Colleges to average a double-double with 16.7 points and 10.3 rebounds a game along with 2.2 steals and 2.0 rebounds a night. He erupted for 31 points, nine rebounds and eight steals in a win against the Royal Ambassadors on Nov. 21, 2019.
 
Allen earned MACJC Player of the Week for the game against Royal and after helping lead Jones to back-to-back 20-win seasons in nearly two decades earned 2020 First Team All-MACJC, NJCAA All-Region 23, NJCAA Region 23 All-Tournament Team
 
The dynamic guard helped lead his Raymond High School Rangers to a Mississippi High School Athletic Association in 2019 after back-to-back steals and layups helped seal the win along with 18 total points on the night.
