Baseball Series Against UAH Canceled

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference baseball series scheduled for this weekend between Alabama Huntsville and West Alabama has been canceled due to COVID protocols, according to an announcement by the league office today.

The three-game series was scheduled to begin Friday with a doubleheader at Tartt Field on the UWA campus in Livingston, Alabama and end with a single game on Saturday.

Per Gulf South Conference policy, conference games may not be made up after the originally scheduled weekend. Teams may still elect to play each other on alternative dates, but those games will be reflected as "non-conference" games.

West Alabama's next scheduled action is Thursday, April 1 in GSC play at Montevallo. That three-game series is scheduled to conclude with a doubleheader on Friday, April 2 at 1 p.m.
