COLUMBUS, Miss. – Head baseball coach Gary Rundles adds Austin Goode to the 2021-22 baseball roster and pitching staff.

"Austin will be joining our squad after not pitching for a couple of springs," said Rundles of Goode. "An outstanding young man that has the ability to start and or relieve depending on the needs of the team. Austin's character and willingness to work hard will pay dividends for him and the team. We are thrilled to add Austin to our roster."

The Wellington, Ala. native joins the Tigers after a stint at Jacksonville State University and two seasons at Snead State University. While at Snead, Goode made three appearances in 2018 for 1.2 innings pitched and one strikeout. In 2019, he played in two games with 3.0 innings pitched and two strikeouts. He spent his high school career at Alexandria High School.
