Pennington Signs with UWA Track

LIVINGSTON, Ala – K'ahriyus Pennington has officially signed his National Letter of Intent to join the University of West Alabama Men's Track team.

Pennington was an excellent runner at Pike County High School in Brundidge, Ala. He was the state champion in the 400-meter dash at the 2021 AHSAA Class 3A State Track & Field with a time of 49.95.

"K'Ahriyus is a great athlete, and we are excited to have him as one of the newest members of the Tiger Family," UWA head track coach Kirby Patterson Walker said.

K'ahriyus finished second place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.98 at the state championship meet.
